The Patrol Sleeping Bag attaches to the outside of the  (ISB) as part of the US military's Modular Sleep System (MSS). It can also be used standalone, but is designed for warmer temperatures than the ISB. Snap caps along the side of the bag allow it to be attached to other MSS components.

For waterproofing, attach a GoreTex bivy cover.

This bag is rated for temperatures 50 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. It's relatively lightweight, coming in at approximately 2.2 pounds, and very packable. With its polyester fill (similar to a woobie), it's also quick drying.

It features a full-length zipper and large "hood," perfect for giving some breathing room in warmer climates.
